Vinyl Application InstructionsFor Best Results, Please Read Entire Instructions Before You BeginThese Instructions Are For Vinyl Decals Only And Do Not Apply To Printed Stickers
Anatomy Of A Decal* Your decal is constructed from three parts * The top layer is the transfer tape * The middle layer is the actual decal * The bottom layer is called the backing paper
Preparation* If your decal arrives in a mailing tube, it is recommended that you unroll the decal and let it lie flat, face down for at least an hour before applying. * Thoroughly clean the surface. The surface your are applying the decal to must be clean, dry, and free of any dust or residue. * Ideally, the surface and air temperature should be 50°f or more. Using a hair dryer to warm a surface on a cool day, or a mist of cool water on a warm day can help achieve a workable temperature. * Avoid installing your decal in direct sunlight or in the wind, this may prove to be a bad decision. * After preparing the surface, check that the decal fits in place. If necessary, cut off any excess application & backing paper & make guide lines with masking tape or a non-permanent marker.
Application((((( Small Decals ))))) *Remove backing paper *Place one edge of your decal onto the prepared surface and slowly roll onto the surface, rubbing it down with your hand or a squeegee as you go. ((((( Large Decals ))))) * There are two methods that work well with large designs
* Air bubbles will usually disappear in a few weeks, if not, you can use a pin to puncture the vinyl and squeeze the air out by pushing down with your thumb. * We recommend that you leave the application tape on for about 15 minutes before removing. This will help ensure that the decal adheres to the surface fully. * It is highly recommended that you get help with large decals.
